I would recommend the full vertical grip, it sticks out but not terribly so and gives you something to grab on to pull your sub2000 out of its bag or wherever you keep it. The hinge-pin screw on the Sub9 is completely different than the Sub-2000, as is the length. The "extended" sling hinge screw for the Sub2000 sling kit isn't even as long as the original Sub9 screw.
