Nov 25, 2011 · Screwing around with this machine and trying to teach myself to weld - a friend is selling to me over time for $300 which seemed like a good deal.... any way I started to use it and it was working just fine and the wire stopped feeding and some of the wire got tangled on the spool. . One thing you can try is turn the igntion switch towards the run postion stopping just short of activating the electronics.Then try and move shifter to neutral then you can start it and out it into gear so you can drive it to get it fixed.You need to blow out your cable liner, while your doing this make sure your contact tip is clean and unobstructed. Also make sure that your drive roll tension is not to much, enough to move the wire but not enough to push it when you have the wire held at the gun.Cleanliness in a wirefeed insures problem free usability. It could possibly be that you liner is kinked from being coiled too tightly. Another thing to try first is when you are welding is keep the cable to the gun straight as possible. Higher guage wire doesn't travel around curves well as lighter gauge.
